Utah County marriage license fees are paid directly to Utah County by the couple.
Those government fees are not collected by Online Wedding Vows and are not refundable by us.
You may cancel for a full refund within 24 hours of purchase, as long as your ceremony has not been scheduled or performed.
If you book and schedule within that 24-hour window, the grace period still applies unless we have already started custom work (see Section 5).
Refund eligibility is based on how far in advance you cancel.
More than 72 hours before your ceremony:
Full refund minus any non-refundable add-on costs already delivered.
Between 72 and 24 hours before your ceremony:
50% refund of your package price.
Less than 24 hours before your ceremony:
No refund. Your ceremony time has been fully reserved and cannot be resold.
We understand plans change. If you need to reschedule:
More than 24 hours before ceremony:
One free reschedule to a new available date/time.
Between 72 and 24 hours before your ceremony:
50% refund of your package price.
Less than 24 hours before ceremony:
Rescheduling is still possible, but a $75 rescheduling fee applies.
Rescheduling is subject to officiant availability.
Some services require labor before your ceremony and are non-refundable once completed. These include:
Personalized Love-Story Script work (once writing begins)
Vow Coaching sessions already delivered
Witness services already scheduled and confirmed
Apostille processing already started
Translator services already scheduled and confirmed
Any digital keepsake package already created and delivered
If custom work has been completed, the cost of that work may be deducted from any eligible refund.
If either partner does not attend the ceremony within 15 minutes of the scheduled time, it is considered a no-show and is not refundable.
If you arrive late but within 15 minutes, we will do our best to complete your ceremony, but extended time is not guaranteed.
If a technical failure on our side prevents the ceremony from happening, you may choose:
A Free Reschedule, or
A Full Refund.
If technical issues on the client side (internet/device problems) prevent the ceremony, standard rescheduling/refund rules apply.
If a ceremony cannot legally proceed because:
Your Utah County license is not issued, expired, or invalid,
Required witnesses are not present,
Identity verification cannot be completed,
you may reschedule once your documents are correct. Standard rescheduling fees apply depending on timing.
If you file a chargeback without contacting us first, we reserve the right to pause services while the dispute is reviewed. We will always attempt to resolve issues directly and fairly if you contact us first.
